Hello Everyone,

One of our Board Members alerted me to this little one, so I called the
Coulee Region Humane Society. We have worked with this particular Humane
Society in the past and they are very willing to work with rescues (a
plus in my book). They informed me that they have a person in the La
Crosse, WI area that usually takes in the ferrets and finds homes for
them. The Humane Society, by law, has to hold the ferret for a certain
period of time (since it's a stray) before they have the authority to act
on the disposition of the ferret. We are also on their books to pick up
the ferret if their local contact is full. One way or another, this
little gal will be properly taken care of and found a forever home.

Ferret hugs,
Kathy Fritz, Executive Director
