Yesterday I read about Himberger Gem reporting a pet store selling
ferrets that are only 3 - 4 weeks old. There must be some kind of animal
control action that can be brought into play for legal action for cruelty
or other charge.

The one animal that is so very nippy is only trying to suck and protect
itself. Is a normal reaction to being removed from the mother way too
soon.

She claimed most ferts are dying, that is normal for the situation and
grounds for animal cruelty action.

I sincerely hope the authorities are brought into play for this one
immediately! If they are crossing state lines then it becomes a felony.
