Hello my friends.  Our shelter has been looking for 2 ferrets in the
bushes for the last 2 days.  A man was seen dumping two kids in a leash
free dog park in Mississauga on Oct 9th.  The leash free zone is full
of foxes, hawks, raccoons, skunks and many dogs off lead.
 
The forest where the kids were dumped is littered with broken glass, old
carpets, paint cans, tires and even a few abandon cars hidden by the
thick brush.
 
The Toronto Sun newspaper has picked up the story of these 2 abandon
ferrets and the story will appear in Monday's paper.  Please pick up a
copy.
 
For my Canadian friends celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend, please
hold your ferrets tight and kiss them, being thankful they they are warm
and safe, unlike the two kids in the forest.
