Well the babies will be 8 weeks on the 12th of this month. Though
originally I was posting that I only had sables but the one woman who was
going to take the albino and cinnamon boy, lost her house and job in one
bound (her husband found a new woman and kicked her and needless to say
she wasn't too happy at work, which lead to her being fired). But back
to the point at hand. This is what I have available for adoption:
1 dark sable girl (may have a potential home this weekend)
1 albino boy
1 cinnamon boy (some people call his color champage or butterscotch)
2 sable boys
2 dark sable boys
1 chocolate shaded silver boy (very interesting coloring)
They will be available to go to new homes on August 9th and after. At
that point they will have all 3 distemper shots and be over 12 weeks of
age. If anyone is interested in seeing any of them, I will have them at
my July 17th All Speciality Ferret Show located at the Silver Lake Nature
Center, 1306 Bath Road, Bristol, PA 19007. Or if you are a little
further away or can't make it, I would be more than happy to send you
pictures. They are all very sweet.
Also I a couple of older girls available as well:
4-5 year old Black Sable Girl (altered - no major or minor health
problems or concerns)
4-5 year old WWDE (altered - had his left adrenal removed 3 months ago
and he has a slight skin allergy - gets .5cc Benadryl during the high
points of the allergy season but other than that his allergies he is
in good health - has was checked by my vet and there is no sign of
any major health problems and his allergies are very controllable)
These are my only adoptables other than the babies. If course the WWDE
boy does require some extra attention, I feel that there might be a good
permanent home out there for him. The Black Sable girl is also looking
for a forever home. If someone was willing to take both of them
together, the adoption fee is $120 for the pair. Or $75 each.
If anyone is interested please let me know. Also I have three more
rescues coming in. They have to go through their 2 weeks quarantine and
since I have not seen them yet, I am not sure what they look like. I am
currently full but these three cannot go anywhere else, everyone else is
full or cannot handle what they have. These seems to be the season for
surrenders. Well these kids where found roaming Philadelphia near 30th
and Market Street. Did anyone lose three ferrets in this area? For
verification purposes, if you did, please email me and give a brief
discription of the ferrets. The were found sleeping underneath a park
bender that an officer sat on. They are all very dehydrated and straved.
They are currently being treated by a vet in Philadelphia. The officer
is transporting them to my house on Monday, assuming they can leave by
then.
Also did any shelters and/or persons find a white female ferret about
1 1/2 years old roaming near Cinnaminson, NJ? I got a call the other
day from some looking for her lost ferret.
With the three found ferrets, they must be held for a period of 45 days
(2 weeks quarantine) and then 30 days for their owner(s) to claim them.
After which point they will be well enough to go to their new homes.
Also hopefully their owner(s) will be able to pay for their medical bills
since if not for the officer taking them to the vet, I do not think they
would still be alive at this point.
Please no flames, I am just trying to do find homes for these ferrets and
perhaps reunite lost ferrets with their owners. Last year I found three
and reunited three with their owners, I would like very much to continue
with that success. Thank you everyone for your time.
