Hello ~
 
I love old ferrets.  They are just so sweet.  We had Houdini who lived to
be 12.  He did loose weight in his later years, and definitely ate less
as he became less active.  His water intake remained pretty much the
same.  It was at this time that I was studying flower essences (first
discovered in England) and a form of alternative medicine.  We had found
that coreopsis will retard appetite, so we had to find one to increase
it.  We did.  I made it.  It is called Essence of Galanthus, which is
the snopdrop flower the first one to come up under the snow.  It will
increase appetite but it will vary with each illness (cancer/chemo/old
age, etc).
