Now I do believe 'cite' derives from the same root as 'recite', referring
to oral communication.  so if you are deaf you might cite but not
receive, or if speechless you wouldn't cite but could sign.  That's
opposite over hypotenuse, or if divided by those under 21 (who require a
cosine) that sends one off on a tangent, which you do very well.  Those
who are blind will just have to handle the angles since they cannot see
the signs.
 
What was that about brailed brisket ?
