Hi I emailed early about the licking/biting ferret, who it turns out
is not a boy but a girl...the pet store was very wrong although not
surprised since they seemed incompotent when I bought her.

Anyway, my question is on a different subject. I know that ferrets can
catch the human flu but what abuot the common cold. I am beginning to
worry since my roommate just caught a cold and I am pretty sure I will
catch it from her. I handle the ferret for hours daily and I don't want
her getting sick. I am going home this weekend for my brother's birthday
and if there is a chance that she could sick i would think about leaving
her home with my mom who loves her and calls herself "grandma" to the
ferret. So any advice would be much appreciated....thank you

Kelly
