Hello! This is the 1st time I have posted although I have been a member
for about 2 years. I thoroughly enjoy reading the FML. I have attended
the ST Louis Symposium and met alot of nice people. I am glad I went!!
BIG you do an incredible job!!
One question is about expiration dates on some meds. I have some meds
that have no expiration date on them and I get different answers as to
when they may expire. I figure I would post this question to all you
ferret "experts". I just want an idea to base my decision on when to
toss.
Here is my list of Rx all in liquid form:
Sucralfate / Carafate
Clarithromycin
Metoclopramide
Enrofloxacin
Flutamide
Metronidazole
Prednisone
Prednisolone
I have found having the liquid meds mixed (done at the compounding
pharmacy) with Ferretone, the fuzzies take the meds a little better. Is
there any meds that you are aware of that would be harmful to have mixed
with Ferretone?
I am owned by 8 ferts!
Any suggestions, ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Melanie
