>My friend Nicole, fellow vet tech, found out that 5 grams of the oral
>suspension (more or less a 60 day supply) would be $525 or $575!!!
April,
Two years ago I had a ferret on diazoxide, and I paid $75.59 for 30 ml of
a 10mg/ml suspension. (That's a whole lot less diazoxide than 5 GRAMS,
though.) I got it from it from Liberty Drugs in the Bronx, a compounding
pharmacy recommended by my vet. I don't remember the dosage that my
Alfalfa was on, but as I recall that amount lasted quite a while; it
didn't seem expensive to me at the time. If you'd like the contact
info for Liberty Drugs just let me know and I'll look it up.
