Another thought for this man would be to take up donations for a pet
sitter or some kind hearted person to come in and spend some time with
the ferrets.  If I were closer I'd offer.  But I don't think driving
10 hours each way would fit into my work schedule :-(
 
I can't think of a time when I would need my ferrets near me more than
a time like he is going through.  It would be less stressful for the
ferrets and a much needed relief for this poor man.
