I apologize to the FML for the e-mail posted telling over 3,000 people
that I was out of the office.  Evidently, when I enabled my "out of
office" notification, it was sent back to the FML and somehow made it to
the list.  I am sure that no one was that interested in the fact that my
son had a birthday and I went to see him.  I would have thought that it
would have been deleted.

That's funny -- I was going to delete it thinking it was just another
"out of office" reply but then I saw the comment about your son's
birthday and figured it wasn't an out of office reply after all since
those are usually purely business-like.  So I thought you were just
telling people you'd be out of touch for a day and wanted us to know
how proud you were proud of your son!
 
I took a chance and clearly I couldn't write you about it first, since
you weren't gonna be there... :-)      BIG]
