This morn I took Byte-me out to the woods and turned her loose to play.
She absolutely loved being out there. Was very cold and she puffed
herself up for heat retention and ran like crazy all over inspecting
everything and having the time of her life.
I can't do this in warm weather where there are snakes that would love
to have her and also hawks out there that would do the same. But on
occasion I do this for them both and they each have so very much fun.
Is like a day at the beach for them.
Since Nibble-ed has gone Byte-me has not emotionally recovered. I notice
she still looks for her and she will not bond to Kodo as she did to Nib.
They sleep separately where she and Nib would curl up in a ball together.
Is amazing to see how animals display their most true inner thoughts and
ways of having rudimentary human traits. Either they are some like us or
we are some like them. In any case it shows we are not so far separated
from being an animal ourselves.
