I haven't been keeping up with the FML the last couple of days, being
caught up in my own problem of losing my own little ones to the
over-zealous hand of apartment management bearucracy.  I know you are
hurting.  I have chatted with you via email many times, and purchased
from your stock of ferret goodies.  It seems like the "sky is falling",
to quote a famous chicken, and when it rains, it pours.  May God be with
you.
