Dear Sandee.... I wanted to let you know that this message might have
become confused a tiny bit with some other folks who may have written
you about losses they have suffered, so I am posting this to the FML to
clarify for everyone that this is in Memory of my Kids who have crossed
to the Bridge.. We know how very busy you are, and that it is easy to
have this happen... I hope that the confusion didn't upset anyone, and
the Walsh weasels offer their sympathies to everyone else .

Subject: Winifred and Elmo
Dearest Sandee:
The Walsh weasels ask you to look for Winnie and to look in on Elmo...
Here are their stories. Winnie became part of our family about 4 years
ago; her first Mom had to move to Arizona and knew that Winnie didn't
travel well. She would panic if left in a carrier too long, and Mom was
afraid that she would injure herself...Mom contacted her Vet, who is also
my own, looking for an adoptive family. Of course how could I refuse???
Winnie became part of us, and her Mom on occasion would call to check on
Winn-winn to let her know how her Sisters (who were able to make the
trip) were doing. I was afraid that Winnie would be lonesome without
her Sisters, so I found her a wonderful companion- Kodiak (affectionately
known as Kodi-Bear) and they have been inseparable. Winnie was diagnosed
with Lymphoma 2 months ago, and she finally succumbed peacefully in my
arms on Thanksgiving night. Kodi knew she was leaving us for the Bridge,
he would not leave her side for more than 15 minits at a time. I know he
will miss her terribly...
Please help her to find the rest of our family... Ferris, Beulah, Flower,
Blizzard, Bump, Stimpy, Twister, the Bandit , Stretch the Bare-Naked
Lady, Gizmo, and Frosty and ask them to take care of her for us...
Elmo was almost part of our family (in our hearts he is anyhow).. He
was a shelter boy abandoned by his first family that my Vet also told
me about... But before he could come home to us, he developed a urinary
blockage and was not able to overcome it... We are heartbroken that he
never came to us, but we ask that you tell him we will be his family,
that we hold him in our hearts, and we hope that he will live with our
Bridge kids till we see him in our time...
Greatest respect for those who have crossed, and our Deepest Gratitude
to YOU who watches over them all for us...
Missing them all so,
Vikki and the Walsh weasels
