Condolences to those with lost, sick, or angeled chicken inspectors...

(Hey! He put his dinner down. Let's go taste everything!)

Yes, as an anti-biotic, Clavamox can cause diarrhea. It isn't able to
specifically identify bacteria, so it kills everything. In fact, that
is why it is used. It will kill a wider variety of bacteria than some
of the more-common medications. Because they no longer have the "good"
bacteria (the bacteria that helps to break down food for proper
digestion) in their stomach, they can't completely digest their food
and the result is diarrhea.

However, don't dispare! Wait for about an hour after you've given their
meds, then give them some Dannon yogurt (mix it with some of the fruit
at the bottom to make it tastier). Give them pretty much whatever they
will take (you may have to force them to take some, at first, until they
get used to it) in order to replace the bacteria that have been killed
by the meds. This should help.
