Hello!
Just wanted to drop a line & let everyone know that ferrets do live in
Iowa.  I live in the Waterloo area & the want for ferrets here is seen.
We have a Petco in town & there are new ferrets there every time I visit.
I think it's the same as everywhere else.  Once people realize the
capabilities of the ferret-kind they don't want them anymore.  My
fiance & I have had ferrets for 5 yrs.  We have never bought a ferret
from a store; we have rescued all 7 ferrets we have owned.  Does anyone
in Iowa have shelters?  I am unaware of any in the Waterloo area.
