Today was a very sad day for my earthly Mommy. Her littlest ferret that
she got from a place in Omaha passed over de bridge. I tell you de truth
I was shocked to tears to see him as he had shrunk to a rail; his legs
wouldnt hardly move. It was Mommy's youngest furry and de runt of de
group. Daddy took him to de vet dis morning, and de vet said it was
kidney failure and they talked about choices since Wild Bill could barely
walk and decided it was best to let him go. It was a hard choice for
Daddy to make (Daddy always says he hates ferrets, but I know a secret--
I have heard him cry in de nite when one of us leave him). Daddy waited
while Wild Bill passed on and they brought him back all wrapped in a
beautiful towel that daddy had put him in. Daddy wanted to pay de
vet-but de vet said no dis is on us--maybe its cause we always went to
him as a herd--he called us--and would just charge us one office visit.
BTW if you ever need a loving vet its Dr Schildnecht--mommy has taught
him a lot about ferrets. Mommy and Daddy buried my ferret brother today
and Mommy and Daddy have been crying a lot-blaming demselves, but I
tapped mommy on de shoulder and whispered in her ear--it was just his
time to go over de bridge and he is having a blast-his kidneys are fine
now as he is going all over everything HEH_HEH and his legs are moving
just fine and moves like a bat out of well I cant say dat place.
I have been so busy introducing Wild Bill to everyone in de place. And
to his other brothers that passed before him
Love and dooks from de Heaven
