The "lady" was supposed to be Kelly Ripa, and the problem wasn't that
she threw the ferrets - they appeared to be stuffed fakes - the actress
ran over and grabbed the "baby" - and they were sort of flung off in
opposite directions - the problem was that they had been placed on it
to look like they were biting or attacking it.  There was also a fake
parrot that "flew" over (looked like it was actually tossed) and attacked
someone.  It was one of my favorite programs, and I was thrilled when I
saw the ferrets - then severely disappointed at the portrayal ... one
more cheap laugh at the expense of ferret's reputations - ouch!
