We have a 1 year old silver which we rescued, I won't go into all the
details of the problems she had when we got her but now she is having
another problem and the tests that have been run are starting to show
that she wasn't properly spayed. I called Mashalls sense they spay and
neuter their ferrets before they are shipped. I told them of the
problems and I feel that they should be liable for the vet bills, don't
get me wrong, I will pay for whatever needs to be done to get her in good
health again. Well, what I was told by Marshalls is that sense I do not
have the guarantee card that there is nothing they can do, which to me is
funny sense she has Marshall's tattoo on her right ear.
According to Marshalls that really doesn't mean anything, they told me
that their competitors are doing the same thing, well that is an issue
they will have to resolve with them. I for one am very disappointed in
Marshalls replies, that shows me that they really don't care about their
ferrets without the card. I understand that it is possible that other
people are marking their ferrets as Marshalls does but to me it sounds
like a cop out, and maybe they should look into other forms of marking
or even micro chipping.
