We wish to thank all of you for your heartfelt condolences.  Each one has
been read very carefully and are greatly appreciated.  Your concerns and
caring thoughts are overwhelming.
 
If we have missed anyone thanking them personally, it was an oversight
on our part.  Sometimes the tears just got in the way and now we wish to
personally THANK YOU.

Xeryus - April 2, 1997 - September 20, 2003
 
Survived by:
1 very sad Sister: Lady Xavier
3 very sad Brothers: Zacaryeus, Yazu, and Me Too! Azu
 
His color theme was navy blue...our very first Brother...named after
the cologne...Xeryus Rouge (red bottle black top) also a Egyptian
Ferro/God/Ruler.
 
Born April 2, 1997...a neutered male standard sable...a lost ferret that
no one claimed...a 1st place champion show shelter ferret.
 
Last October, 2001, Xeryus had a cystic kidney burst on him, sent home to
die...he is the only known ferret to have survived this ordeal.
 
Shortly after that he was diagnosis with adrenal along with an enlarged
spleen...surgery was out of the question do to his kidney condition...
and again he was sent home to die...but survived.
 
Xeryus lost his fur on his tail and body...the only fur he had was on
his head and legs/feet...and his skin was old-wrinkle and oily...Daddy
started giving him Melatonin...30 days pass...we just couldn't believe
our eyes...his hair grew back on his tail and then all over his body...it
just seems like a miracle...he had hair all over his body...his skin was
not old and wrinkle or oily and he was back to his normal self.
 
The last couple of months his health worsen...and he would lay on Daddy's
chest with his head over his shoulder...for hours at a time...he was the
most lovable and adorable Brother that you would ever come across..also
the neatest ferret...when he would awake you would think he folded his
own blankies...this is how neat he was...and if any of the us (ferrets)
spilled food on the carpet which had fallen from our condos...he would
eat the kibbles...cleaning up after us and our messes...he loved tennis
balls...while carrying them he would walk with his head held up so high
and proud and would put them in a straight line.
 
Xeryus's condo was next to Daddy's computer...and when Daddy was using
the computer...Xeryus would stick his head in his water dish and shake
his head to splash Daddy to get his attention.
 
We knew his death was coming...but did not want to accept it...his little
heart struggled for so many years with his conditions...that it just got
tired.
 
Xeryus will be joining his brother and sisters at the Rainbow Bridge:
Scarlett O'Hara, Repuda da Beuda, Carreen O'Hara, Zoey "O", Skye Shaw,
and Eryus.
 
We miss him so very very much...our hearts are broken into many many
pieces.
