In today's harsh economic climate, many are finding that they aren't
suffering from the large "infestation" of bucks which their households
used to be subject to. Buck sightings are less and less common these
days .. particularly the large bucks which are generally considered to
be more desirable than the smaller, single bucks.
Still, many find that single bucks still pop up in unexpected places:
in their pocket prior to the wash, or in their change from the grocery
store, or perhaps in a survery envelope in the mail. These single bucks
can't be used for much on their own, and many consider them to be almost
"disposable".
Surprisingly enough, though, when these single bucks are "herded
together" and put towards causes like helping homeless ferrets in
shelters, they have proven to be surprisingly effective. While they
seem so small and powerless on their own, their worth seems to multiply
when they are used in this way.
SOS (Support Our Shelters, a 501c3 operating to raise money for needy
ferret shelters and rescues) would like to offer to gather and "herd"
your stray bucks! We will put them to good use supplying food for
hungry ferrets in shelters, and medical care, and other necessities.
Even if you only find one stray buck in your household each month,
that is not a problem! Please visit the site below, and you will
receive information on putting your stray buck to work for a good
cause: ferrets! :->
