Hi Theresa.  You may want to have your vet do a barium X-ray.  Everytime
any of my guys showed these same symptoms and didn't respond to amoxi,
pepto, carafate it turned out to be a hairball in the tummy.  They never
created a full blockage but it did cause an extremely sore tummy.  I've
had this happen to me three times over the last 7 years.  I use Vaseline
in lieu of Petromalt on a regular basis (one to two times per week) and
I'm grooming more frequently now, almost daily as opposed to weekly I'm
hoping this helps.
