I;m looking for help with my 2 year 11month old female ferret.  She was
spayed as a kit and has never had a health problem.  I just returned from
vacation to discover that her vulva is significantly swollen.  The day
that I left I thought it might be a little swollen, but it was hard to be
sure.  She is acting completely normal and looks great.  She has a good
appetite and no hair losss at all.  I went thru adrenal disease with my
male 2 years ago and she looks nothing like he did.(he has had surgery
and is great now).
 
Aside from her swollen vulva she is perfect.  Has anyone had any
experience with this?  any suggestions?  Could this be a false heat?  Any
responses will be appreciated.
