I recently responded to a post on this list regarding two ferrets in
Colorado needing a new home.  I was willing to take them immediately,
as there seemed to be some urgency in the situation.  To date, I have
recieved absolutely no response from the girl who owns the ferrets, who
so "desperately" needed to find them a good home.  No good deed.......
 
When you get a chance to be nice to someone, take it: everyone is hiking
uphill.
