Hi all,

My ferrets too are undescented (like 99.9% of all ferrets where I live)
and I don't mind it at all. They "puff out" that pungent odor (which
dissipates very quickly) very occasionally and only when confronted to
extreme angst or excitement.

Like many Europeans, I view descenting as a needlessly painful procedure.
I believe that neutering plays a far bigger role in controlling smell.
Additionally, vets willing to descent ferrets are hard to find here,
except, of course, for medical reasons.

Cheers, Marie & The Three Stooges
