Hello my friends! I've got lots to tell u this week :)

One of mommie's favorite kids was adopted this week. His name is Alfie.
Mommie loved him a lot cuz when grandma died, Alfie spent a lot of time
with mommie, licking away her tears. mommie often said if she knew she
could afford to have her very own ferret, Alfie would be him.

Alfie went to a great home though and his new mommie swears that my
mommie can visit any time she wants to. Alfie was adopted with his best
friend, Oreo. Our Oreo will be somewhat of a celebrity come 2005. You
see, he'll be the cover ferret for the 2005 Ferret Frenzy calendar!
He's a super cutie and was loved by MANY of our volunteers!

Bevo, that adorable cutie that chased the lady home a few weeks ago was
also adopted. He went with his new found friend, Josh. Auntie Trish
(mommie's roommate) was quite upset to see him go, he was her favorite!

So now, the shelter isn't in as dire straights as it was and there are a
few empty cages......Phew! Lets just hope it stays that way until well
into the new year!

mommie is going out to San Francisco in the new year to visit Mandrake &
Stevie. She's really excited to kiss the crap outta those boys again
lol! Auntie Jill, you better warn those kids!

Pistachio came through adrenal surgery with flying colors! mommie
watched the surgery and held his little paw the whole time.

i'm afraid i have some bad news on Dee. She's not pregnant. What we all
thought were babies (including one of the vets) turns out to be tumors of
some sort. they may be adrenal but we won't know for sure. she'll be
going in for exploratory surgery on Wednesday. Please keep our wee Dee
in your thoughts.

Phil's x-rays showed a tiny injury in his spine. He's on pain meds and
mommie gives him goo to keep up his strength. So far he's doing ok, but
not great. He needs your prayers as well.

My love to all of you!!
