A while back, and quite by accident, I found another unique way to
entertain my furkids and treat them to a new and exciting experience.
At the time I was undergoing physical therapy which required exercises
done with the legs while laying on the floor.  One day while my ferrets
were out enjoying their free roam, I began the routine and found myself
surrounded by enthusiastic fuzzies, all intent on putting some real fun
into my therapy.
 
Nada attached herself to my pantleg and hung on with determination.  When
I lowered my leg, she immediately gained access to that exciting tunnel
presented to her by the lower opening of my slacks and began her
exploration of 'what's inside?' Then Cinco and TT began climbing over my
prone body in their excited attempt to join in the fun.  Cinco walked
across my face and began tugging on my hair.  TT began a happy dance on
my tummy and it was then I realized my furkids thought I was playing with
them.  I had to stand up to shake Nada away from the sensitive skin of my
lower leg and when I did this, all three fuzzies went nuts!  My 'kids'
had turned a boring routine into a thing of joy.  It's an on and off
practice with us now to keep things moving in my ferrets' world.  Some of
you may like to try this too, but make sure you trim your fukids' nails
first.  lol
