The kits, now 6 weeks old, spend a lot of time out of the nest box. In
fact, the last time the box was cleaned out, the top was put on crooked,
and I could see a sliver of "outside". Saw one of the kits pass by a
couple times!
I fancy that one is a little larger than the other, and therefore one is
a baby jill and one a baby hob. But it may just be my imagination!
The bowl of mush has been replaced by chunks of meat, but the kits still
nurse.
All 3 just had a big wrestling match, then the kits nursed for a few
minutes, and then ran "outside" to play. Oops now they are all back in
and wrestling again!
