* I'm not sure if you are directing "people like you" at me or Anonymous.
It doesn't matter. I agree with you that she shouldn't be allowed to
show her ferrets anywhere. Responsibly the AFA banned her years ago
after an earlier dumping of ferrets. The rest of the shows will have to
speak for themselves. I wish there were more measures that could be
taken against her to discourage her from breeding as well as showing.
I don't show ferrets, but many of my friends do. Shows are not to blame
unless they allow her to participate. Any show that would not bar Di
Bachman or any other known abuser of ferrets is not being responsible or
ethical and is contributing to the problem.
> 4. How many socks do you think her brood was able to steal before they
>were rescued? potatoes? children's shoes? THE ANSWER IS NONE THEY
>WERE IN A GARAGE COVERED IN MOUSE FECES!!!!! AND THE WORST PART IS THEY
>ARE THE "LUCKY" ONES
*You speak my thoughts.. I think about what you said above each time I
look the two Hagerstown ferrets that now live with me (3 and 4 yrs old).
Also here is a little girl who shows all the signs of bad genetics. Lucy
is my foster from the PFRA who was from Di Bachman's dump in '97 or 98.
I agree the survivors are the lucky ones. It's my job to keep these
three happy. We have a lot of time to make up for. Most of my other
kids don't know how good they have it.
>Lisa and the Diabolical Dozen (minus Bucky lymphoma one week ago) ...
* My sincere condolences on the loss of Bucky.
All the best,
Peggy
