Hi you guys,
 
I just wanted to thank you again very quickly for all the e-mails helping
me with Salma.
 
It still really could be that she s allergic to something (still trying
to find out what) and she is and I guess will always be a nervous fuzzy,
but from watching her the past couple of weeks (and hearing all the
feedback from so many of you guys with so much experience on this), and
seeing the hair on her belly thinning out even more makes it seem like it
might really be Adrenal.  Even though there are no other symptoms (she s
not even doing the obcessive-protect-the-toy thing) AND there s new hair
popping up in many different areas
 
But since there s no way to really be sure I went and made another
appointment for the surgery for Thursday of the next week (yep, September
11th, what a horrible date!  But was the earliest I could get, hope it
doesn t bring bad luck!)
 
I m so scared for her, poor sweetie!
 
And I used to think I had tried everything when it comes to prevention
for Adrenal, all those theories She still gets meat, natural light, was
neutered the latest possible... Why do fuzzies have to have to go through
something like this?  And she s only 2 years old now s getting me all
freaked out worried about who ll be next (since Logan and Leeloo are
older )
 
Oh, and JUST IN CASE the glands look both NORMAL, I was wondering
if I should really ask the doctor to go and remove one of them
anyway???????????????!!!  (like some people here suggested since in
their cases it showed up that it was adrenal in tests)
 
It s be horrible if she is opened up and there s nothing but only because
it s early stages, then a few months later to have to open her up again?!
Not only OPs are dangerous but also so painful, and you all know, very
expensive too.  Isn t it risky to remove a gland that s healthy, or
worse, what if the healthy s the one taken out and the messed up one
stays!
 
Too much scary stuff going through my head She s my youngest baby and my
first Adrenal it sucks!
 
Anyway, I ll post as soon as it s done to say how it went.
 
Please keep little Salma in your thoughts and prayers next Thursday!  And
thanks again for all the support and for being such wonderful and caring
folks!
