Hi everyone
 
I have a ? and I remember someone asking about this ? b4 but I done know
what the response were.
 
I have 4 ferrets (2 girls and 2 boys) I have never seen one of my ferrets
doing this until I was on vacation last month with my parents to New
Mexico.  I'm deaf.  My Mom called to tell me to check on one of my
ferrets.  My oldest boy Taz was sucking my oldest girl Kauliflower's
ear while they are in sleep.  I tried to get Taz to wake up so he would
let go of her ear.  Only God knows if he has done many b4 and I never
noticed, but since I saw what Taz did for the first time.  Now I have
seen him doing to 2 more times in Oct.  One was last nite.  When
Kauliflower heard me, she woke and wanted to come to me but she couldn't
cuz Taz was still sucking on her ear.  I had to try to open his mouth
while he was sleeping, when he let go, he got a grip on her neck.  I
tried to his mouth again and he let go and got a grip on her body.  boy
I can tell that Kauliflower was saying like "mommy get him off me!!"
Taz was sleeping the whole time until I got Kauliflower free of him, then
Taz woke up, looking confuse like he didn't know what was going on "Poor
Kauliflower had wet and red ear and I rub her ear and gave her a kiss on
her ear and she turn around and kiss me like if she was saying " thanks
mommy for saving me!!" I REALLY would like to know WHY Taz was sucking
her ear??  Is Taz in pain while he's in sleep and sucking her ear for
comfort or just like to suck on her ear like a pacifier??  Please ANYONE
tell me what does that mean cuz its driving me crazy to see my poor baby
getting her ear sucked.  Taz ONLY does with Kauliflower's ear but not my
other baby girl ferret.  If anyone have any idea, I would very much
appreciated what the answer would be.  Thanks for listening to my
concern.
