Many jills were pregnant from this rescue. It was the decision of the
attending vet as to spay or not. He determined heartbeats in one bino
jill named Sno Princess.
She birthed 5 kits. For the first 48 hrs I was by her side constantly.
I had to milk her and place the kits. My initial fear was that her milk
would not come...it finally did. We now have 5 beautiful pink kits with
budha bellies! This is a very bittersweet event for me personally.
I have chosen to name them after the ferrets we lost in one week; Julie,
Boomer, Hanna and Biker Chick. The 5th kit is Courtnay, named in honor
of the Animal Control Officer that rescued their mom from the Hagerstown
garage.
I'll be getting updates on the website pics soon!
