I think your ferrets would be better off with you.  They're not
youngsters, so adjusting to a new home and new people will likely cause
more stress than adjusting to a new situation in the home they've always
known.  If it breaks your heart to let them go, it will probably break
their hearts to be let go.
 
I say, keep them.  You'll make time for them and your baby (just as you
will make time for your first child when you have your second).
