colds in ferrets?

Sukie,
I tend to believe you about the ferrets not getting colds but I have
right here a brochure from the AFA, "What is a Ferret?" that states,
under "What diseases can ferrets get?" "Ferrets are susceptible to canine
distemper and Aleutian mink diease.  In addition, they can catch COLDS
and influenza from humans." Perhaps they should revise their pamphlet.
