I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone again in helping with Romeo's
broken leg surgery. Randy took the greatest care of this sweet boy . I
will always be grateful to her for being there for us.

Both Romeo and Juliet are now American's. They are here at their new
home and settled in wonderfully.

Juliet is a demure little girl and loves to be held and talked to. Romeo
is a pistol. He is non stop energy. You would never know that he had a
broken leg at all.

Dee Gage and I drove to Canada to pick the kids up and met Randy and her
mother. I had a wonderful time with them both. Dee and I took one day
to see Niagra Falls. I had never been there and it is beautiful.

One thing I know Romeo will miss, is Randy's mom sharing her tapioca
pudding with him. I have a photo of them sharing some pudding. It is
a picture I think I will always cherish. It shows to me how one little
animal can keep ones spirits up even under hard times. The love they
give is so amazing, and their insperation is a wonderful thing.

On the way back we stopped in Yipsilanti and picked up two little rescuse
girls that came from Ohio. I am happy to say those little "sausage
girls" have a wonderful new home now with a dear friend of mine.

I was worried that Romeo and Juliet would have a hard time with another
move. I sent a sleepy baggie I had slept with for two weeks so Randy
could give it to give them andd they would be used to my scent and also
have their scent on it when they came here. I guess I didn't need to
worry so very much. They are a delightful addition to my family. Both
are little beggers and danged good at it too. They love 8 in one Ferret
Bites.

I will be forever greatful to Randy and her shelter for the love and care
given these two kids. Forever grateful to Romeo and Juliet for comming
into my life, bringing me new friendships, here and across our borders,
and new adventures.

And they lived happily ever after...........
