Hi Everyone,
I would like to get some feedback. Sable Mae joined our family from a
local rescue organization. When we got her, she was 6 months of age and
already set in her ways. Thank goodness she has no behavior problems.
Our problem- she does not care for ferret treats. I have tried every
brand I can find and she sticks her nose up at them all. She loves
raisins and cereal. I know that an occasional raisin or Cheerio is
fine, but I do not want to give her too much fiber or carbohydrate.
I realize that giving less treats would work, but we are trying to potty
train our newest baby, Halle. So frequent treats are needed. Sable Mae
gets upset if Halle gets a treat and she doesn't - Sibling rivalry, at
its best :)
They both also love Ferrivite. I have read that it is only for sick
ferrets, but the box gives a dose for healthy ferrets. So is it OK to
use as a daily treat and what amount is right?
If anyone knows what I can try, please email me.
Thank you and Happy Holidays,
Amanda Miller
