Hi Alayne,
I do use corn cob litter - and have for over five years. It is terrific
for odor control, by far the best of any we have ever used. It doesn't
cause "dust" like the clay either. It has a natural, almost grassy
smell, if you put your nose right in it and it never smells stinky, even
after several days. We have used litters of clay, pellets, newspaper,
etc. and nothing works as well. Unfortunately it is not as cheap or
easy to find at times as some of the others, but I bet if you give it a
try you won't have to be convinced to buy it again. Part of why it seems
expensive is that it is more $ per pound, but you use less by weight
because it is a lightweight product so you can't compare it ounce for
ounce with clay litter which is less per pound but you use more weight
at a time.
