Canine teeth are very easy for them to break.  Yes, if the tooth is
broken off far enough down, infection can get in and goes straight into
the bloodstream.  That's a real mess.
 
You will want to take them to your vet and have them checked out.  In
particular you want to see if the root is exposed.  (A tiny red or black
dot in the center of the tooth will be the root - but you might not be
able to see it even if it is exposed.) If it is, they will need a root
canal and a cap.
 
Not all vets are dental experts - press them on this and don't take "wait
and see" for an answer.  Get a yes or no.  Better yet, get your vet to
recommend an endodontic specialist (i.e. a dental surgeon) in your area.
 
I have had this happen to two of mine.  My endodontist tells me that,
even with their tiny teeth, root canals are easier on ferrets than on
other animals because of the shape of the root.  After their root canals,
both of mine are as good as new.
