Been there......in fact, I go there every single spring.
 
Thanks to the FML folks though, I learned that ants do not like mint.  I
planted mint under the windows where they were coming in and that too
care of the problem.  For now, when it's too early in some states to
plant outside, I'd try spraying a mixture of water & Spitit of Peppermint
where ever they are making their way into the house - this worked for me
as well.
