Ohhhh BOy Hey ! friends,
 
It's your ol' buddy Jerimiah here - now I knows it has been a while since
I could get to the keys but shelter Mom has been kinda not available to
me for updates- ya see she has been sewing her little fingers to the
bone- seems she gets one order done like the tents for the FerretStore,
then she gets another order.  We's got RATS living in our hammies!  That
is right!  The local rat rescue all but cleaned us out of hammies last
week- and since the loco pet shop needs some hammies, Mom said ebay need
some hammies and now another pet shop wants more hammies- poor ol Mom is
not sleepin' like she should.  She is a bit frazzled because she needs to
get the stuff done as we have sick kids that need help!
 
Our ol' guy Harry "Professor Harrington Ferretwise", well Mom has been
giving him lots of medicines... he seems to have a tiny problem in the
waterworks area... 2 weeks ago his water turned green-- now it is dark
yellow even with lots of medicine.... He is ol spleen got big again too--
so Harry poor Harry goes to the vet SAT AM - can you believe that on a
weekend even?  for a another zipper job so they can find and fix his
plumbing.  Mom is hoping she can get stuff all done so she can stay up
with him and make sure he gets off to a good recovery.
 
She said to tell the special friend that sent vet money from SOS a very
big THANKS..  Ol' Gravy, one of the starvation kids has not been well
either he has another big ol' spleen ( makes his belly funny) and so he
had to have blood work-- (boy he smelled funny when he came home) --
seems he is anemic and has low blood sugar too but the kidneys look good
- the vets going to give Ol' Gravy boy a zipper too as soon as Harry is
off to a better start-- then there's the little lady Biscuit - well she
has pink thighs.  Yeah they sure do look cute that fluffy white fur with
pink hot pants-- but Mom said the vet has her on watch and she will need
surgery too-- so that means Mom has to make a LOTS more hammies to get
everyone feeling better!
 
Well the good thing is after all the sick kids get squared away, is that
the place looks much bigger now -- that is because a entire cage unit is
missing -- it is really fun instead of running up and down the aisles we
can run across the room!
 
What happened you ask?  Well see the boys that can't hear like me -
Jasper & Nikki- they picked a man who came to visit several times - each
time the man (and lady) came to visit, Jasper ran to the man-- now they
really came to see Muggs the baby-- but Jasper would have nothing less
than the man.  The guy finally got it on the second visit when Jasper
stood in front of him and scratched on his p[antleg.... So they decided
when they got ready they would come get the boys Jasper & Nikki..  then
all of a sudden they called back AGAIN -- could they take Muggs too?
Then they would have 1 ferret who would hear them and maybe Jasper &
Nikki would follow??  Well Mom said ..... SURE!  :) The cage had not
arrived yet - so Mom loaned them the one here-- until there's gets in...
They are so happy..  the folsk called and said they are having a blast in
the new home.  Muggs teases the little dog Bunny... Bunny sits out side
the cage and wants to play-- Muggs sticks his nose out his paw out lies
on his back but Bunny can't play-, so she whines.  In a few days they are
going to let everyone meet I bet Muggs will give that little dog a run
for her money!  Hehehehe.  Oh and best yet Cheerio's it rained Cheerio's
again at the shelter and IT WAS NOT MY FAULT!  Big Grin!
 
Mom said it was such a mess it filled up 3 vaccuum bags and there were a
lots of soft poos hehehehehe... But we ALL got extra cheerio's we tried
real hard to help clean up- there was holes in the box and holes in the
bag and it was sooo funny!  I don't zactly know what Mom was saying but
her mouth did the fishy thing again- opening and closing opening and
closing all the time the machine was sucking up them wunnerful Cheerio's!

Mom says all the funds will help get the next three surgeries that need
taken care of.  Meanwhile, I am going to try to teach Gravy & Biscuit
some neat things for their recovery period... Harry is just too nice to
do the right kind of ferret tricks!
