True or False: Ferrets have musk glands.
A: True.

True or False: Ferrets should be vaccinated against rabies and canine
distemper.
A: True.

True or False: Ferrets, like cats, usually defecate in a litterbox.
A: False. Some people have successfully trained their ferrets to use
a litterbox, but they are the exception, not the rule. A ferret owner
should be prepared to find ferret stools in corners and other
unanticipated places.

True or False: Ferrets may be fed dog food.
A: False! Ferrets must be fed foods that are higher in protein than dog
food, such as specially formulated ferret food or veterinary-quality cat
food.

True or False: Ferrets are always cuddly.
A: False. Many ferrets would rather scamper and play than be held and
