Aggression can be a sign of adrenal gland disease. This would be similar
to "steroid rage" in people, who take anabolic steroids. Ultrasound is a
so-so test for adrenal gland disease. Some adrenal glands are still in
the "normal size range," but are overproducing hormones. The Tennessee
panel refers to the hormone testing that the University of Tennessee (in
Knoxville, Tenn.) runs. Elevated hormone levels will confirm adrenal
gland disease. I would imagine that your vet (or the vets at the
University of Guelph) could send blood samples to Tennessee for testing.

Hope that helps,
Jerry Murray, DVM
