This is to Au Jennifer - regarding the described horrendous caging
conditions and treatment of those ferrets:  run don't walk to your
nearest phone and call ANIMAL CONTROL.  I have started a club here
in Vero Beach, Florida and our stanchest member is an Animal Control
Officer.  Animal Control Officers are a rare breed - if they catch
people mistreating or abusing and animal they take action.  My Animal
Control Officer member has been responsible for have many, many, many
mmany people prosecuted in court for mistreatment of animals.  Also see
if you can get in touch with some of the great Ferret Rescue organization
in your part of the country - once the animals are removed from the
toxic situation they are currently in the ferret Rescue people can help
you find homes for them.  There are many people on this board who can
help you.  Let me know what part of the country you are in and I will
