Yes, the CBC shows anemia.  A biochemistry panel is the next step to
determine the cause of the anemia.  If the BUN is elevated then it is
secondary to kidney disease.  If the panel is normal then it can be
from Anemia of Chronic Disease (ie insulinoma, lymphoma, bacteria
infection, etc).  Adrenal gland disease can also cause anemia from high
estrogen levels.  Lots of possibilities, but more testing is needed.
