Hello all,

I recently had the privilege of adopting a beautiful rollicking cinnamon
boy whom my boyfriend Ted and I have dubbed Pippin (he gets along well
with our other hobbits Frodo and Bilbo along with the rest of our crew).
But because this cinnamon boy looks like he's been eating too many
cinnamon rolls, we call him Roly-Poly (or Roly) for short (partially
because of his massive frame, partially because of his never-ending need
to roll around).

He's such a wonderful boy. He's two years old and despite his size, he's
full of spunk. He's very energetic and fast, and he loves to dance.
Usually, I don't fall in love with the cinnamons (I'm a sable girl), but
this one just stole my heart (along with everything else he can get his
paws on).

I think the other members of my business have ordered Roly to be the
blanket, because if he's not laying flat on his back at the bottom of
the cage, he's lounging across some of our smaller babies (much to my
dismay).

He and the rest of the business (Noodle, Vera, Chance, Sugar, Cotton,
Frodo, and Bilbo) immediately liked one another, and even the cat
(Rhubard) deals with his energy.

Funny story: when I started integrating Roly in the big cage with my
Vera, Chance, and Noodle, he immediately brought the Super Pet tube that
connects to one of the shelves crashing down. No matter how many times
I reattach the tube, it just won't hold his weight. I'm looking to get
more ramps for the cage.

If anyone is in NC and wants to meet this beautiful BIG lug, I'll be
bringing him to the next Triangle Ferret Club meeting March 22,
3:30-5:30pm (located at Northwoods Animal Hospital in Cary, NC --- for
directions http://www.trifl.org) along with some of his new brothers
and sisters.
