Treatment will be dependent on what type of cancer it is.  If we're
talking lymphoma, and this is a juvenile ferret (you didn't mention his
age), the likelihood of treating with any hope of success is pretty much
nil.  If he is an older ferret, and it is lymphoma, you can at least
improve his quality of life for a time with steroids, and possibly other
chemotherapy drugs.  If it's a different type of cancer, then different
options may or may not be available.
