back in February with helping to transport 2 ferrets from the Long Island
area to me here in the Buffalo, NY area.  I had answered a post here on
the FML that Joanne Ruffner had copied here about 2 ferrets that needed a
new home.  I was eager to take them & offer them their forever home here
with me.
 
I received several emails from members here on the FML, including BIG,
offering their assistance to help transport.  Unfortunately, I was never
able to finalize arrangements to get the ferrets due to the fact that the
person giving them away failed to return any of my emails or Joanne's
emails.  We can only assume she decided to keep them or place them with
someone else closer.
 
I just wanted to give Joanne, BIG, and all who offered their assistance a
very LARGE & SINCERE thank you!!!  I really appreciated everyone's help &
efforts.  I also want to apologize for taking so darn long to write &
send this...my 5 children & I have all had a terrible time during the
last 5 weeks with being incredibly sick with bronchitis & the flu.
