now i understand that this may be a great idea...and etc...
 
but the best form of control is toi get with all animal control sections
in all states and counties and say hey this is how we should do it...but
guess what?  it aint gonna happen...most animal control places dont GIVE
A CRAP ABOUT FERRETS...thats the truth they dont..not only do they take
in cats dogs ferrets horses pigs goats and etc...but to ask them to also
foot the bill is close to ridiculas...most animal control places dont
have the money...thats why they throw them in the cage and put them down
as soon as they can...the healty ones get luicky sometimes..if an animal
has problems when they come in...such as what ferrets get...more than
likely they will just euthanize them...why?  because of the unexpirance
that they have with an exotic animal...and teh fact that it not cost
effective for them...NOW I DONT AGREE WITH THIS>>>SO DONT FLAME ME>>>
but im telling you the truth...this is what does go on...im not saying
all shelters are like this...BUT ALOT ARE...
 
so in my opion the best course of action is to yes change the
shelters...but...
 
TAKE A CAMERA....HIDE/CONCEAL a VIDEO CAMERA/TAPE RECORDER whatever it
takes...and then SUE!!!  why not?  people do it everyday..so why not do
it to...not only does this bring the proof....
 
which is the point...but it also brings attention to the cause/case of ev=
eryone guilty...
 
and it doesnt subject the ferrets to more abuse...or sustained abuse...
its very easy to hise cameras in purses bags and etc...and yes most peopl=
e can afford them...
 
at least this would work until the animal control situation and shelters
were perfected...
 
u cant argue a video tape of a filty mess and unclean animals...
