Thanks to everyone who sent cards and emails conveying their condolences
and prayers regarding the passing of Smokey.
 
Thanks also for the replies regarding the tail hair loss of Merlin and
Nikita.  To reply to you all at once, the hair loss reveals bare skin
and is not a over enthusiastic seasonal shedding.  Any more comments or
suggestions would be welcome on the topic.
