Well, things are looking up. After having purchased the required
medicines, I proceeded to juice my little man up. The first day was
ridiculous! I got the ptooyies everywhere. We fought for the whole day
about medicine and food. However, The very next day, with just a little
coaxing, Jako ate about 8 tbs worth of food on his own!! Of course I am
relieved, though still a bit nervous that he could just revert right back
to not eating. As it is, he seems to be a lot more spirited.

We also had ourselves a little ferrapy. One of the best exercises is
simply to rub one on your cheek and get kisses on your forehead. Our
little girls, Bebe and Riley, are just so healthy and bouncy. I wish it
would just stay that way forever. I started selling off some comics to
help with the cost of Jako's surgery. SO far I have not made much, but
every little bit helps.

Oh, and for those of you who don't have the book Ferrets For Dummies (or
heard these names somewhere else) they listed the names for males and
females:

Jill - Whole female
Sprite - Fixed female
Hob - Whole male
Gib - Fixed male

I had never heard these terms before in relation to ferrets. Hope all
is well.
